WAS Benson Rise and Fall Desk Lamp
A fine example from the eminent lighting designer WAS Benson. This piece is featured in an original catalogue photo from the Benson reference book by Ian Hamerton.
This tall desk lamp is simply designed with a heavy base and a rise and fall arm holding the vaseline glass shade. The articulation on the side arm enables the light to be directed as desired. Now wired with 2 metres of antique gold braided flex and the original Benson switch.
Size 55cm high. Base measures 16cm diameter.
Fitted with an original Benson vaseline glass shade.
