We worked closely with a customer of ours to supply three restored opaline glass lights to perfectly compliment the refurb of her London town house. We frequently post fragile restored glass lighting which surprises some of our customers who imagine it to be almost impossible to receive it in one piece. The lamp is an original WWII mine sweeper lamp which was used aboard a fishing boat during the war. The tripod is also a World War II original item. When we sell larger items such as this, or furniture, we always use a door to door courier to ensure safe delivery. We have a trusted courier who does this important job for us. There is nothing worse than selling a beautiful and often rare item only for it to arrive smashed.
