‘The Lily Pad Lantern’ an Art Nouveau style pendant light with opalescent glass
Part of our small and exclusive Ashby Range. Designed and hand made in our workshop in Melbourne. Beautiful and unique with attention to detail and quality.
This lantern is crowned by a copper lily pad beneath which the glass shade is suspended inside a delicate brass framework.
The opalescent glass shade is open at both the top and bottom and has been made for us by a UK based artisan glass blower who follows the methods and styles of the early 20th century glass makers.
This design is based on a design by the eminent Arts and Crafts lighting designer WAS Benson.
All components are handmade by us including the cord grip fitting inside the crown finial and the dome headed screws on the collar.

Price includes wiring with 1 metre of antique gold braided flex. There is a wide choice of colours available if you wished to discuss alternatives. Additional length cable available at a small extra cost. Price includes one of our own designs of ceiling rose in copper.
Wired with a B22 bayonet bulb holder and PAT tested prior to dispatch.
