Large Wrought Iron and Vaseline Glass Lantern
An eye-catching lantern dating back to the arts and crafts movement with great contrast between the black painted wrought iron frame and the diamond patterned vaseline glass.
IMPORTANT CONDITION REPORT – This lantern shows obvious signs of age and wear and tear. The painted wrought iron frame is very flaky. The vaseline glass has nibbled chips to the top edge in particular. Please study photos before purchase.
In many ways, the signs of age enhance the aesthetic appeal of this lantern which has so much personality.
Dimensions
Height from bottom of lantern to top of hanging hoop 66cm. Width – 28cm at widest point. Weight 4.5kg
Wired with approx. 1 metre of black braided flex. Fitted with a new bayonet fitting (size B22). PAT tested prior to dispatch.
Supplied with 1 metre of matching suspension chain and a hooked ceiling plate.
