Victorian Dentist Lamp by Best and Lloyd

Originally a gas lamp converted to electricity.  This style of lamp was used in dentist surgeries in place of the modern spot lights we seen now.  Manufactured by Best and Lloyd and bearing their maker’s mark.  Fitted with a prismatic Holophane globe shade.

Brass frame shows aged patina and a few scratches and marks.  Wooden ceiling rose is in similar condition.

This lamp is wired with 2 metres of black antique style braided cable with a plug or it can be hard wired into position.

Supplied with a new B22 bayonet fitting and PAT tested prior to dispatch.

Size – Overall height as posed 93cm.  Width at maximum setting 67cm.  Shade measures 17cm wide.  Wooden ceiling plate measures 16cm. Weight 5kg.
