Tall WAS Benson Table Lamp – Bodlein Library
A fine example from the eminent lighting designer WAS Benson. This lamp was one of several removed from the Oxford Bodlein library.
A heavy and substantial brass column with a copper oxide finish. The simple design features the original Benson switch – in full working order. Fixed to a wooden base.

Fitted with an original Art Nouveau vaseline glass shade with frilled edge which is in good condition.
Size. Height to top of shade 65cm Width of glass shade 20cm. Width at the base 16cm Weight 3.5kg
Wired with approximately 2 metres of antique gold braided cable. PAT tested prior to dispatch.
