A new year is always an exciting time and we are thrilled to be included in the January issue of Homes and Antiques as part of an article written by Serena Fokschaner on Trends for 2024.

As antique lighting specialists, we most often supply Arts and Crafts lighting to customers who have a period home.  However, we have recently noticed a distinct move away from this with both Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau lighting being displayed to perfection against a more subdued and pared-back setting.  The rule book has once again been thrown out of the window!  Purchasing an original WAS Benson lamp and showcasing it in a simplistic setting will undoubtedly draw the eye and make it a talking point as well as an investment piece.

Other trends in the article included highly decorative antique glass and ceramics.  Once again perfect in a contemporary setting as well as West African Kente cloths displayed as art works.

Such an interesting and informative article.  If you would like to learn more about Homes and Antiques magazine, you can visit their website HERE  There is also a link to subscribe to their monthly paper or digital magazine.

Happy New Year
